Something flashing in task manager

I've tried searching to no avail. I'm sure I'ld have more luck if i knew what keyword/s to use. My task manager has something flashing in processes. It opens and closes way too fast to be able to tell what it is, but it's there. Probably cycles every second or so and is so fast the only thing you can see is just a slight *tick?* in processes. Has anyone experienced this before?

 

Forgot to mention. This seems to be slowing the computer down slightly. (Did I overlook edit?)

Well....I can edit this one, but don't have that option on my earlier one.
