Sonicwall vpn issues

I'm setting up a VPN with my SonicWall Pro1260 and have the Global VPN Client software up and working on my pc. I can connect and authenticate with no problems but I can't use the network! Can't ping my server or connect to it. Am I supposed to have a gateway listed for my status of the VPN connection? The IP and subnet are correct and they where handed to me via DHCP from my sonicwall upon connecting. Any ideas or things to check would be a big help.

 

Only have experience with Cisco, but when using VPN, you must telnet in to the VPN router & create an account before having access to VPN. Not really an easy thing if you're new to this. Not to mention the permissions you give them in the setup process.
