   When using the keyboard on my Sony Vaio laptop, when the "P" key is pressed, it shows as an asterisk. How do I fix this??

   Okay, an update.....on the keyboard under the P key is a little *. Every key on the keyboard that has a number or symbol on it is working this way. Seems to be the right hand side. I obviously hit a key to make it do this. Can someone tell me how to fix this?
