    Hello to all

I have a small office with three computers that are connected with an Ethernet hub.
Two of the machines use Window XP Home while the third uses Windows 98.
Internet access has been through a dial-up ISP provider directly from each machine.

Last week we obtained DSL access and wish to access it through the network.
When I connect the DSL modem directly to each computer the connection works fine.
However, when I connect the modem to the Ethernet hub only one computer will connect properly.
    The others attempt to dial-up.

Our hub is a Netgear EN104 and the DSL modem is an Efficient Networks SpeedStream 5100.
I have the modem plugged into the uplink jack on the hub.

I have also tried changing the Windows settings for the network so that each computer
accesses the internet through the network, but that did not work.

Can anyone help straight out my mess?

You Network is not set correctly.

You can not share this way, and you probably are on PPPOE authentication.

Take the time to read the content of these links.

Link to: Basic Options for Internet Connection Sharing.

Link to: Hubs, routers, switches, DSL, LANs, WANs...?

**Ignore the prices mentioned in the links above. The same or similar hardware can be found for 60%-90% less.

And the whole thing should look like this: Diagram of Broadband Connection with Cable/DSL Router.

    As for the Authentication.

Link to: DSL Routers and PPPOE.
