Sound and video prob

Hi there I have built my own puter Sempron 3100+ Winfast K8s 760mg mobo, But I have a problem with the audio (onboard realtek 97) and the video (onboard). The problem is with audio it just stops after a while or like before just when i change my screensaver. It dosent seem to like playing with me doing other stuff. And the video if I watch a few movies it after a while becomes really jerky and then the whole thing freezes and the system freezes and i have to reset the puta. But every time i reboot the sound and video is back to normal but just repeats the same after a while. Any help would be much appreciated.

 

how much memeory does each have? sounds like it's using up more memory than is available.....mho

 

have you ran CCleaner? or checked for spyware?

also what players are you using? and what codecs?

 

Its not a spyware prob, coz i've got adaware se, spybot, microsoft one, avg7, housecall ran that. Memory got 512mb but registers az 384mb and currently have 145mb free. Thats what i thort that it was a memory thing but a guy in a puta shop said that memory dont cause that bring it in and i'll have a look, I just laughed at him. $50 just to get it thru the door. Happens with my games to. Like they dont play, takes bout two min and goes all wacky. and i ending up reseting and having to do the chkdsk feature.

 

what about drivers? make sure you've updated all your drivers(video, sound etc .. and of course the motherboards drivers)

 

yeah, as pyrate suggests update ur drivers and also try to update the bios.. but i too sometimes have trouble with my onboard sound (PT880 Neo Series/MSI with VIA chipset).. there is just that really weird tone that keeps on screaming at me from my speakers... sometimes it just goes aways after a while, other times i need to restart.. also sometimes when i watch films using the Windows Media Player i also have the problem that the picture gets really slow while the sound is still normal.. now that i have a new graphics card (a lot faster one) the picture still gets gets a little jerky but it is a lot faster than it used to be.. i couldnt figure out these 2 problems so i just started using VLC player which gives me no problem.

 

all drivers up to date mite try the bios update. This is real annoying. My old puter ran so good just was only 800mhz got a little slow. But neva had any probs like this.
