I have a Gateway laptop Mod: MX6426 that has a Audio card ATI SB450.
So EVEREST states it does. I'v down loaded the sound card driver from the gateway web site for this laptop and when installing it fails. Is there a place I can down load the driver for this card?

    Thanks.

Actually, you have the Conexant AC Link audio in your PC. Gateway is somewhat famous (or infamous) for having incorrect and nonfunctional drivers on their web site. They do it alot. You didn't mention which OS you're running so I'll assume it's WinXP. You can download it from DriverGuide (link http://members.driverguide.com/driver/detail.php?driverid=830504) which may require free registration to complete the download. If you do a Google search for "Conexant AC Link Audio" you'll get many good links to drivers. You should be able to use any Conexant AC Link audio driver, even if it's on the HP web site....

I downloaded Conexant AC Link Audio driver and it also failed.
So I decided to download the Vista sound driver.. and it worked..

    Thanks for your help.
