Sound card PCI!!

    Hey guys I got a new Creative sound card ,previously had intergrated sound.I have an Asus a8v deluxe 5 pci slots my 6800gt takes up the first.I have 4 free PCI slots.My question is ,if I my sound card should be in the top 4th pci slot or the bottom 1st? I mean does it matter wich pci slot my sound card is in? or it does not make any diffrence?

    No it should not make any difference, Because i have my sound blaster live 5.1 pci in slot 4 in my gateway computer.

    I usually put my pci stuff in an area where the air can still circulate OK. That's about it.
