    Hi all,

After listening to a Roots album on my pc I started hearing some strange sounds from my speakers. So I turned up the volume and I start to hear people speaking in Japanese (no joke, this is totally serious). My media player has been closed for a while so its not from the album.

I tried restarting and powering down my speakers to no avail. I hear some dude in Japanese and an audience of some kind. I think I've been connected to some radio station or something, but I'm not finding any evidence of this.

I really have no idea what is causing this, but it is horrible. I have no idea where to start in terms of fixing this. Any ideas?

    Thanks

    Hi Matrixtna,
    Welcome to the Malware Forum!

Are you using a wireless or wired internet connection? Does the same thing happen if you hook up to an internet connection someplace else besides your normal location? To either find or close out the possibility of malware, we need for you to go through the instructions in the READ & RUN ME FIRST and attach the requested logs.
