Sound Problem

I have sound. The problem is every time I reboot I have to go to control panel to turn on my little speaker in the tray. sometimes it will just dissapear while im browsing. Any ideas?

 

try up-dating your sound card driver.... start>computer>properties>hardware>device manager>sound,video and game controlers>highlight sound driver rightclick up-date driver,hope this helps,if not, next time you have speaker on taskbar right click and check to see if there is something ticked or somesort of value that is not set properly.

 

Thanks,I did that. It said it could'nt find any better drivers than it already had. Checked properties on taskbar, I don't see anything wrong there.

 

OK, right i would like you to do the same thing i said before but this time uninstall the driver, then click on scan for hardware changes all of which is in device manager,just follow the prompts and see how you go from there.
can you also give us some info on your machine ...i.e...make and model as this info can help in resolving your issue.

 

Ok I did that. It seems to be doing alright now. Ill be back if I have anymore problems. Thanks for the help!!
