I have on board sound on my nForce2 board. The board supports 6 channel sound.

I have a logitech z640 5.1 surround speaker system hooked up to computer. I have noticed that when listening to music, and other sounds i hear an echo, and not all speakers are working.

I have tired many things, reconnecting everything, reinstalling drivers, downloaded Nvidia Mixer. None of this has worked. I am suspecting that there is a hidden media controller somewhere that is causing a delay or echo in my sound. I can not find it anywhere. I am ready to go buy a sound card to see if there is any difference.

    Help is appreciated :)

Oh yes...right now the only time i get any sound is when i have nvidia mixer open, and an enviornment has to be enabled. it still has the echo, and decay sound. Even with the mixer uninstalled it does not work right?!
