Sound Volume Too Low On Some Websites

Having a problem with sound volume. Pandora and local sound files play at normal volume. Some website, Facebook, and YouTube video's the volume is too low it cannot be heard, even through external speakers. But these websites play at normal volume on other computers. Have tried other browsers and volume still needs to be at 100% and then can barely be heard.

-Ran Windows audio troubleshooter and checked for driver and software updates, no change. During driver updates, was told these are the most current.
-Went to AMD's website and downloaded and ran their AMD Radeon Settings app, no changes to the drivers.
-Uninstalled the drivers and rebooted the computer. Verified there were no other driver updates available.

System info:
HP Pavilion g7 Notebook PC
Windows 10 Home 64-bit Version: 17134.765
--AMD A8-4500M APU with Radeon(tm) HD Graphics
--4GB Hynix 1600MHz

Graphics:
--AMD Radeon HD 7640G, 1600x900

Audio devices:
1) AMD High Definition Audio Device - driver: AtihdWT6.sys - ver 10.0.1.7
2) High Definition Audio Device - driver: HdAudio.sys - ver 10.0.17134.319

 

Right click on the Volume Mixer (the little speaker icon in your system tray area) and select Open Volume Mixer. Then see if the volume settings are set the same (or where you want them) for each app displayed).

 

Have tried earbuds and verified that the volume levels on the computer and app are all turned up. Sound mixer sliders are all at 100%.

TimW, - I have been a tech support engineer, sometimes you have to ask the "stupid questions"! Resolved many PBCK-errors!

 

plodr, thanks, this helped a little. It brought the volume up some, still have to have it at 100% to hear it. Other computer has it at 40% to achieve the same dB level.

I tried from another suggestion to "disable all enhancements" and it didn't help.

 

It is an HP Pavilion g7-2317cl.

I will look into the above. It came with WIN8. HP has not tested WIN10 on this so it says to refer to the various manufacturers for drivers. I am running 'Driver Booster 6'.

Tried both EDGE and GOOGLE.

 

That is my concern... was hoping someone here might have some knowledge/experience with this issue. Not looking forward to having to determine WHICH drivers are the most useful for all situations.
