I have an HP Pavillion dv9000 running Vista Home SP2. I have an HDMI port can plug an HDMI Cable in to get my favorite baseball game to play on the large screen TV, but it doesn't play the sound through the TV. I've checked for settings but didn't see anything that jumped out at me. Suggests?

Have you checked the settings on your television or just the laptop? It's possible that you TV needs to be configured for HDMI audio.... Just a thought. what is the TV model?

The Television is a Samsung but I couldn't find an audio setting that made a difference. I didn't even see anything in the Sound menu to talk about HDMI.

If you go to your control panel>Sound>playback tab. Do you have anything for an HDMI audio output there?

Before using HDMI feature the onboard drivers are to be disabled from the system and from the BIOS also.

I don't have the HDMI Option under sounds.
ISARODRIGUEZ, can you be more specific?
