sp3 for xp

After loading Avast I ended up with the blue screen of death. I uninstalled it using windows which was a mistake because Avast has it's own uninstall program. I cannot upgrade to Windows 7 due to the cost of upgrading components of my existing computer nor can I afford a new computer. I had to do a full recovery of xp and now I cannot find a safe download of sp 1,2 and 3. I got to sp2 and one of the sites for sp3 killed windows xp3 again. Just where do you go for safe downloads for xp now that MS is not supporting it any more?
