What is the best spam blocker for Outlook. I have many email addresses and the spam mail is out of control. I've tried to write rules through outlook and through one of my email servers but they either don't work well or else start blocking out mail I want to receive. Any info would be great.

    Thanks,

    Ophie

You're welcome and I see you posted in the Software Forum. The first reply is giving you links to items in the page I referred you to.

haha yeah. I saw that. I'm just hoping to chat with someone who's using one or has used one successfully.

That was why I sent you to the Software Forum. I figure you may be able to find someone who uses software like that. I personally don't use any and don't consider spam to be malware.

Right. Hopefully someone does over in software. Crap just floods my emails constantly.

You need to be more careful on who you give your email addresses to. Especially online. For many online things you really should use a junk email account that you only access as necessary to get emails from things you bought...etc. You can then forward them from the junk email account to your every day account. Once you get yourself on one spammer list, you will wind up on many more. They only real way to stop it, is to delete that email account and create a new one and then do what I said above and in step 10 of this: How to Protect yourself from malware!

Ahh sorry its not that. I have a website, and forums. Web crawlers seem to be able to pick up my email addresses off of the site and then send crap. When you have multiple accounts like:

    info@....com
    forums@....com
    services@....com

The problem multiplies. I always try to avoid signing up for things and giving out my address but I'm afraid with the site I'm stuck with the spam unless I can find a good filter.

Don't put your email address on websites! And if it is absolutely necessary you should write like below to avoid having it picked up that way.

    info at ....com
    forums at ....com
    services at ....com

hahah but then how are the people who are contacting me for services at my site supposed to contact me for services???

All you have to due is add a note to the text telling them to replace the at with @.
This is a common practice in many forums to avoid the spamming problems.
