Speach to text

I'm looking for a free software or website that converts english audio to text.

 

This is more difficult than your realize. Transcribing audio into text is still somewhat of a holy grail in computers. I hear eschelon does ok with their supercomputers. If you are the one speaking you can train a program like Dragon Naturally Speaking to recognize your specific speech patterns, otherwise it's going to be alot of work tweaking software for a specific person.

And free? Good luck. Maybe you can get away with Microsoft Dictation, which is part of the Speech Development Kit, but it's cumbersome as you have to pause between each word.
