speakers do not play any sound.

Hello all, well here is the thing, at first I thought it was my speakers. I have a Dell 4700 and they are the normal Dell speakers. whenever i would turn them on it would sound like static, then go away. Now no sound is coming out at all. I tried different plugs. I know i have it plugged in correctly also, it was just working yesterday, then all of a sudden it doesnt work after i play a game called gangsters organized crime. So i went out bought new speakers and they do not play either. Someone please help!

 

Have you checked volume/sound settings to make sure nothing has been muted?

 

Yes, I checked that, I am going to try to download some audio drivers off of Dell and see if that works..

 

If that doesn't work you may want to try another sound card.
