OK, a PC can display a pretty good waveform of a sample, which to an electronic tech is an oscilloscope.

Are there any programs that will show the frequencies in a sound sample? I'm trying to synthisize a couple of notes (but with more than one frequency). I'm a tech, not a musician, and I don't have access to a lot of test equipment.

Just hoping somthing like that exists.

    Bad idea, not practical?

I thought about starting another tread, but why junk it up more?

OK, the spectum analyzer idea is out, about some audio editing software that shows the wave forms? I've seen it, just don't know where to get it.

    Any ideas?
