Speed Question

    (My apology if this is the wrong forum.)
    I have a desk with 2 computers and a modem/router on it. They are connected via ethernet cord. I rebooted everything.
    The Windows 10PC does a speed test of 40 up and 23 down. The iMac does 298 up and 23 down.
    Is there an easy way for a technology challenged old lady like me to boost the speed on the PC?

    oh yeah, I also swapped the Ethernet cords.
