speed test

anyone know a site that test your upload speed ?

i know lots that test your download speed

 

nevermind i found one

is 205kb/s good or do i need some tweaking

 

Depends. I tried my best, but my powers of ESP could not determine what your internet connection is...

im on commspeed wireless

i dont know the details yet cause my wife got it while i was at work

its kinda nice i tweaked my settings and got between 1000kb/s to 3000 on a test site its average is around 1400 dont know how the 3000 pops up

they are kinda smart on commcast they caught my dedicated quake2 server and blocked my port 27910 in one night (the heartbeat to planetquake gave it away)

in going to talk to a marketing guy tomorow

 

3000 came up most likely because the page was cached, and it zioomed through the test.

 

Check this link http://www.dslreports.com/tools, they also show upload speed. Check their site for tweaks and such. I've read that there isn't much tweaking to be done for upload, but don't take my word for it. Do a search on dslreports tweaking. Good luck.
