Not sure if this is the correct forum for this. I'm upgrading someone's WebTV to MSNTV2. WebTV is only available with dial-up, while MSNTV2 is DSL capable as well.

Got the 4100 Speedstream from AT&T. Registered the new DSL account with ATT Yahoo! successfully. Unfortunately MSNTV2 is unable to see that the modem is active. The instructions hint at using a router to have MSNTV2 box communicate with the modem. Doesn't the Spreedstream 4100 have a built in setup so I can by-pass the router? If so, how would I access it?

Let me know if more details are needed.
    Thanks.

Yes it does. It is on the bottom of the unit. It is possible that this modem is set up in "Bridged" mode, or possible not registered with SBC.
