Every few minutes, there's a random pop-up that says there's a virus on my PC. Also, there's this flashingoctagonal red icon with a white X in my tray. I've used a few programs like SpyBot and scanned with Avast! but they simply won't go away. Help would be much appreciated! Thanks!

Okay just continue on with step 2 and attach the second log and then tell me your status.

When I booted into normal Windows, I was kind of surprised to see that my wallpaper had disappeared, but then I noticed that the pop-ups were nowhere to be found. Thank you so much for you help!

Here's the second rapport.txt. I don't see anything wrong (except maybe for this firewall problem where Windows says ZoneAlarm isn't on, but when I open ZA, it says it is on). Maybe there's something that I don't see that may be revealed by the rapport.txt. Anyway, thanks again for your help!

That's a normal effect of removing the kind of infection you had. You can jist set your wallpaper back to what you want know.

The Windows Security Center often gets confused. Sometime it is due to having too many security programs installed. Sometimes it could be a residual effect from the malware. You could try uninstalling ZA, rebooting, and then reinstalling.

Are you having any other malware problems?

Being on for an hour and a half after the infection removal, there doesn't seem be any problems. I'll post in this thread anything spawns or returns in the next few hours or days. Thanks again for your help. You guys rock!
