I apologize if this is a redundant topic. However, I cannot find any past logs that help with my problem or make enough sense to me to help.

When I start up my computer (not the one i'm using to post this) Spy Sheriff automatically runs. Everything else is frozen. I cannot click and open any other program, desktop, start button, etx. When I press Ctr+Alt+Del, I get a message that says that Task Manager has been disabled by the administrator.

I have tried to open in Safe Mode. It opens, however after about 3 seconds everything is frozen where I cannot click to open anything.

Are there any suggestions for me?

    Yes....lose SpySheriff; it's a phony anitspyware program:

You'd be much better off with one, or a combination of, these:

I actually did not choose to use Spy Sheriff. It installed itself on my computer and I don't know how to get rid of it. I cannot operate any programs other than Spy Sheriff because it causes everything else to freeze.

My question is how do I regain control of my computer and get rid of it?

Thanks, but I've already looked at that thread.

The problem is that my computer freezes EVERYTHING except Spy Sheriff. I cannot perform any other fuctions. I cannot open any programs, folders, or utilities. I can't even click on anything. I need to know how to regain control of my computer before I can do anything listed in that thread.
