Spy sweeper error log

    I just installed Spy sweeper. When I opened it up, I got an error log stating that An error had occured in a previous session, even though I just installed it. Then it gives me the option to send it or delete it, but doesn't give me any option to read it. I found the log file and it doesn't make any sense to me. Should I be concerned?

    Are you talking about an error log from Windows or are you talking about an error log from SpySweeper?

    Did you purchase SpySweeper? If not, it is of no use to you other than doing a scan. It will not fix anything unless you buy it. They have changed their polices. Older versions were a trial that scanned and fixed for 14 days.

    It's a purchased version. And, it is the error log created by Spy Sweeper itself.

    Did you have trial version installed previously?

    At anyrate, it does not sound like you need to worry about it. If it keeps happening you should contact them about it.
