Spy Sweeper glitch?

    My sister'scomputer is geting fillid up with thousands of temp files in the format of :
    csxxxxxx-xxxxx-xxxx-xxxxxx.tmp
    I found a web page that says that this is created by Spy sweeper when you also have adaware running.
    Can any one tell me if that is true and if there is a way to prevent it from happening?
