Spybot Administrator Problems

Merry Christmas Everyone.!

I have a HP-SR5433WM Computer with Windows Vista Home Premium Service Pack 1
Processor: Intel(R)Pentium(R) Dual CPU E2160 @1.80GHz 1.80GHz
Memory: 2.00GB
System: 32-bit

I have no problems with Spybot when I download the updates, but when I go to "Immunize" I get the following dialog box, "Warning This action may not be performed completely since you are not an administrator. If you want this performed for all users, please run this applicatrion elevated as an administrator."

Could someone please explain to me how I to do this as I'm the only one who uses this computer. I just recently bought this computer, so did I do something wrong or forget to check something when I initially set up the operating system?

Any help would be appreciated.

Some/Most programs in vista need to start as admin or elevated


]To set this property, just right-click on any shortcut, and click the Advanced button on the Shortcut page to get to the Advanced Properties dialog.

You'll see a dialog with a checkbox for "Run as administrator".

From now on, the application will always run as administrator if you use the shortcut to launch it. (You'll be prompted by UAC if you have it enabled).


I do believe thats right... I run a Linux distro
