Spybot deleted file (once you login, it logs you off)

    Hey guys,

    I have a problem. My boss used Spybot to remove viruses off his laptop. Spybot deleted all but one, stating it would remove it at reboot. It did, I assume, but it might have been a registry/startup file. Now, whenever I try to logon, I get to the "windows startup" sound but then it automatically logs me off.

    It can't be reformatted without getting all the data off it. There are important documents that need to be removed first. How would I go about it?
