Spybot did more damage - can't logon now.

I was running through the Vista Cleaning Procedures on this site due to a malware issue and I think something I did in Spybot made things worse.
After I did the scan, I chose to "Fix selected issues" and then reboot. At reboot, I tried to logon to Windows and got the following error:

"Group policy client service failed the logon. The media is write protected."

Then the machine reboots itself. If I don't try to log on. About 5 seconds pass and then the machine reboots itself.

I tried restoring the registry to a backup I had from before to no avail.

Please advise.

 

Actually, I can start up using "F8" then" Start using last known good configuration".

Can't seem to find what's causing the issue....

 

I was able to solve the problem by restoring some registry entries related to an Adware elimination program that I had previously removed.

I will post the required logs in a day or two.
