Spybot DSO PROB?

Hi everyone, non-teccie here so please be gentle with me! Have spybot 1.3, and have downloaded update and the supposed DSO fix from majorgeeks, but when I run sb again I still get the DSO exploit come up. Any thoughts?

Make sure your Windows Updates are ALL Up-To-Date!!

Thanks PP. Have checked and all appears to be fine with Update so.....? any more ideas anyone?

To add to prob with DSO fix not apparently working, am now also getting !!!bad checksum! in info column when trying to update Spybot??

Any help gratefully received.

Re: bad checksum- try changing the download mirror site on the "Update" page
("See-Cure Europe" site was messed up)

 

If your Windows Updates are all up-to-date, you should be able to safely ignore the DSO Exploit warning.

Thanks PP and Mike H. I'll give the update change a try and guess just put up with DSO Exploit issue. Knew it not to be a real prob. Just a bit annoying.
