Spybot help

    I took up a lil job working on my sister in laws PC.. she said it is sluggish, and kept kicking her off the net... knowing it was spyware, i downloaded spybot search and destroy, installed the updates and ran it in safe mode...

    it found 1931 hits

    deleted all but 15... i need help removing the last 15...

    file names are... (all in the c:\windows\ folder)

    wreal.txt
    vbmmv.txt
    qrkqm.txt
    ozxjx.txt
    ghdkg.log
    bqsqe.log
    ydlbi.txt
    ydrho.dat
    wqclc.log
    whmzq.dat
    ussof.dat
    tcqsq.txt
    rnkma.log
    jlisk.txt
    ewyau.dat

    don't know if i should go and manually remove these files... i goodle'd a good # of them with no answers found... please help

    update... just turned around and looked at the screen, running Ad-Aware and currently found 19 objects....

    going to run norton next

    kk.. ran spybot again at reboot... found total of 84... deleted all but 5

    again all in the C:\WINDOWS\ folder

    vbmmv.txt
    ghdkg.log
    whmzq.dat
    usrof.dat
    jlisk.dat

    any ideas?

    Please follow our standard cleaning procedures which are necessary for us to provide you support. Also there are steps included for installing, running, and posting HijackThis logs as attachments.

    - Run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support

    Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.

    - Very Important: Make sure you tell us the results from running the tutorial...was anything found? Were you unable to complete any of the scans?...Were you unable to download any of the tools?...Did you do the on-line scans as suggested? etc.


    After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below link to properly use HijackThis and attach a log:
