SpyBot never finds things anymore

    Hello,

    I'm using Spybot 1.5.2. For the last several months, it has not found anything when I use "Check for problems." In the past, it frequently found things to remove. Is anyone else experiencing the same? I'm wondering if I need to uninstall and reinstall Spybot. Thanks for any tips.

    I haven't heard of anyone having this issue...however, have you run other scans that do find things? If so, what. :)

    I'm not using anything else comprable to Spybot.

    If you read the Read and RUn FIrst thread....we use MalwareBytes and SuperAnti-spyware to assist in removal of viruses....you might want to download them and scan with them as back up scans. :)

    Do you think a virus could be hampering the functioning of Spybot so that at the end of a scan it always gives congratulations and says no immediate threats were found? (Or maybe I'm just in a lucky streak of not having any virus attacks.)
