I am still using version 1.4, but I haven't seen any reviews of 1.5 and if it's worth installing the new version. Anyone have an comments, pros/cons, etc. about it?

I'm using Spybot v1.5 AND Tea Timer, and have been using both since it was released. No problems. I have 2 gigs of RAM, if that makes any difference?
Tea Timer uses 25 megs on my laptop. Bazza

Is it worth upgrading to, as 1.4 is still continuing to receive updates in both definitions and immunization. Also, isn't it advised not to use the TeaTimer function as it's very resource hungry? Is that the only reason people advise not to use that function of Spybot S&D? I only have 1 Gig of RAM, would I notice a slow down if I enabled TeaTimer?

Don't know what the changes are between the 2 versions. Didn't bother to find out.

All new versions are better than the previous version, aren't they? :D ;) :).

As I said I have 2 gigs of RAM so RAM usage is not a problem.
I've never had trouble with Tea Timer in this version.

Back in ye olde days, in early versions of Spybot, Tea Timer was a problem. I think that this perceived problem has been carried over to nowadays.

With 1 gig I don't think you will find a resource problem with Tea Timer.
    Hope this helps. Bazza

I upgraded from the original Ad-Aware to Ad-Aware 2007 and I thought, along with many many others, that it was a horrible decision. Most went back to the older version.

    Just an aside. :)

Could someone explain to me what I'm looking at in the new Immunization screen? Should I just be clicking Immunize and leaving everything checked on that screen or do I need to uncheck things? This is unclear.

Dunno.:confused Never bothered to use it. I leave it as the default, whatever that is.

I also never immunise anything. I just delete them.

Probably not the wisest cause of action but it has always worked for me. Now watch me get into trouble after saying that. :D Bazza

All the new screen is showing you is the breakdown of the immunize update. The old version would just say X amount of threats are blocked and X amount are not and then ask if you wanted to immunize? Now it just shows you. You should leave everything checked to get the full immunization.

In the help section of 1.5 there is a tutorial and explains all the changes if you want to check it out.
