SpyBot S&D keeps closing

    I just downloaded SpyBot S&D and when I click the "check for updates" button, the program closes down. Anyone have any ideas on why? Thanx

    I had the same deal last night upon installing the latest version. Overnight though, I found the web update function now works and allows downloading the latest detection files. Hope you get the same result. You can always manually download the detections from the MG site as well.

    Well, suddenly this morning it works fine. Kinda crazy. I had version 1.4RC2 so I tried to download the one 1.4RC2b. When it downloads though it's the same version 1.4RC2. I had already deleted my old copy so I did the new download and anyways, now it works fine. Thanx all gl
