Spybot S&D v1.4

I have this program on two machines. My bigger, faster machine takes about 5 times longer to download simple updates than my smaller less equiped machine takes. 10 seconds for the smaller one 1 minuter for the newer faster machine. If I want to uninstall Spybot completely so I can reinstall a clean version is it best to go through add/remove or use the uninstaller that comes with the program? I want a clean install. Are there any files or anything else that needs to be removed before reinstallation?

Its best to use Add/Remove or you can use the uninstaller from the program files directory.
