Is anyone aware of any conflicts caused by running Spybot search / destroy and ZoneAlarm?

I had them both on my computer for years w/o issues.

They work fine together. Maybe if you describe the problem you are experiencing some one may be able to assist you.

    No problems.
    Not installed yet.
I thought I read somewhere that there may be issues if they were both running.

    Thank you

    Thank you.

I removed Spybot Search and Destroy.
The Tea Timer / Resident and Zone Alarm were running my Dual core 2 @ 100% CPU usage.
CPU is back down to 1% usage without S&D.
    Curious?

Ah...you had Tea Timer running. That is a huge resource hog. You will find S&D runs fine without zapping your CPU to 100% as long as you choose NOT to install the tea Timer component of the application.
