Spybot won't update-says No server selected???

    I've downloaded Spybot and in running it I click the 'Search for Updates' button, it attempts to find a server but I end up getting an error message that says 'Error Retreiving Update into file!' 'Socket Error # 10060 connection timed out.'

    Next to the 'Search for Update' button there is a 'No Server Selected' button but when I click it it does nothing. And when I click the drop down menu arrow next to it it doesn't respond either.

    Any suggestions?

    Try downloading the latest update manually, we have it here in the Spyware section.

    This error often occurs when you are using a proxy server and have not configured Spybot to use the proxy server.
