Spybot

Hi, after downloading some updates for Spybot, I get this message near the end of the scan.

There were problems in the include file C:\Program Files\Spybot - Search_Destroy\Includes\TrojansC.sbi
See 'Include errors.log' for details.

How do I find this log?

It could be here:

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Spybot - Search & Destroy\Logs

You may want to just reboot and then update manually from the below:

I downloaded those updates manually but the message still comes up.

Uninstall Spybot

Reboot (don't skip this)

After reboot delete the C:\Program Files\Spybot - Search_Destroy folder

download Spybot from this link: SpyBot-Search & Destroy

reinstall, update, and configure Spybot

make sure you download the following update using the integrated update facility:

TCP/IP Settings plugin - !TCP/IP Settings plugin (65 KB) - 2007-06-06

If necessary you can get this update manually here: http://www.spybotupdates.biz/updates/files/plugtcpip.zip

Unzip (extract) plugtcpip.zip.

Move or copy the TCPIPAddress.dll file to:

C:\Program Files\Spybot - Search & Destroy\Plugins
