Over the past week or so there has been two occurrences of clicking on a link and having a page open up trying to run an anti spyware program

Once it was a link I clicked on from a Google search.

Also, since I have been here at your site today when I click on a link (to download software) and another tab opens up the previous tab is retitled to either Google, Wikipedia, or Share Firefox.

Unless of course this is some sort of deal you are doing on your site?

I use Firefox and just upgraded to version 3.

    I ran the recommended scans.

Prior to coming here I ran Spybot and it found some sort of toolbar AZESearch? Spybot fixed it.

I then downloaded the new version of Spybot as suggested. I ran it as directed and it came out clean

The other two searches found items that I was able to quarentine (see attached logs).

I had trouble with combofix. It stalled during the process of creating the log and it never changed the clock back. I had to manually go in and change it back to 12hour time.

I tried several times to run combofix and I even tried running it in Safe mode.

Do you see anything in the logs?

    Thanks

According to the logs you have attached, SAS and MBAM removed your malware. Are you still really having problems? If yes, please do the below.

First please download and run the below new version of MGtools

    MGtools.exe

Then attach a the new C:\MGlogs.zip file that was created.

Yes, the problem I am still having is with the renaming of the tabs in Firefox.

I went over to the Firefox forums and posted the problem there about the tabs.

The other issue and I don't know is this is related to malware or not is there has been two times now when I have tried to enter my password on my blog and it was incorrect. It was a saved password that the firefox system had previously saved.

The other issue is also with a password being changed on my FTP server within the WordPress dashboard.

I may have to wipe out the computer if it has been hacked?

I am the only person who uses this computer, the only one in the home.

The firefox tab issue has been resolved by uninstalling one of the extensions.

Your logs show no signs of any malware problems so I don't think you need to worry about this.
