Spyware detector - not realtime

    Hi Geeks, I have XP SP3, AVG firewall/AV and scan with Spybot
    Can you please suggest a good FREE spyware detector which doesn't run
    in real time, but which I use to scan scan from time to time (like spybot).

    We recommend both SAS ( SuperAnti-spyware) and MBAM ( MalwareBytes Anti-malware). You can find them both HERE.

    SAS needs to be removed from startups, but it does not cause any conflicts. ;)
