Spyware Doctor

    I installed PC tools Spyware Doctor, but an error message said it was not successful. I tried to use the online support that came up, but without success. I clicked the desktop icon, but now the program just acts as if it is in a continuous install/uninstall mode.

    Poor description. There is continuous HD activity and no access to the program, which I tried to uninstall using IObit without success. The in program uninstall says it was completed, but the program is still on the uninstall/repair list.

    I don't like the fact that the program is busy doing who knows what. Beginning to think that AVG was correct to flag it as a virus, which I ignored. I would appreciate some help from the community.:(

    Since posting the original, I restarted my pc and was able to uninstall Spyware Doctor, but I'd still like your input for future reference and possible insight into what was happening with that program.
