    Hi all!
I've been getting this Error 384 thingy in my desktop every once in a while. I get a small message window saying my computer's been infected and I need to click on the link to get rid of it. Also, my desktop turns blue and I get messages like my computer's infected and I need to get rid of it and all that stuff. I thought it was a message given by my anti-virus program and so I tried clicking on "Click Here" link which only took me to a link that starts something like -- "www.2-anti..." sorry I don't remember the rest. I'll get it the next time I get that screen. The link simply results in a page not found screen.
I browsed theough the net and forums and found that it usually appears in IE browser, but in my pc, it shows in the desktop!!! Also I ran Spybot S & D, Adware away 6.0 to no avail.
Finally I decided to go with HijackThis and ask for help. I didn't find any secure32.html or something like that as listed in many forums, so I'm turning to you as I can't understand what's harmful in that log file and what's not.
Guys, I really would appreciate your help coz it's really annoying, this screen is. I've attached the hijackThis log.

    Thanks you all
    Mouli

    Welcome to Majorgeeks!

To fully assist in removing the malware on your PC, you will need to follow the below......

Please follow our standard cleaning procedures which are necessary for us to provide you support. Also there are steps included for installing, running, and posting HijackThis logs as attachments.
    • Run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support
    • Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.
    • Very Important: Make sure you tell us the results from running the tutorial...was anything found? Were you unable to complete any of the scans?...Were you unable to download any of the tools?...Did you do the on-line scans as suggested? etc.
    • After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below link to properly use HijackThis and attach a log:
    Downloading, Installing, and Running HijackThis

Make sure you also rename HijackThis.exe as suggested in the procedures. Use analyse.exe for the new name. This is very important due to some new infections going around.

    • When you return to make your next post, make sure you attach the following logs and that you have run these scans in the following order too:
      • CounterSpy
      • AVG Antispyware log - ONLY IF NEEDED you were not able to run CounterSpy
      • Bitdefender - from step 6
      • Panda Scan - from step 6
      • runkeys.txt - the log from GetRunKey.bat
      • newfiles.txt - the log from ShowNew.bat
      • HijackThis
NOTE: You can only attach 3 files in a single message so it will require that you use two messages to attach all of these logs!
