Spyware? Or nothing?

    Okay, I don't know whether this is serious. It goes away after load up but it's annoying ON loadup. An annoying windows default error noise happens over and over again and if i load up the task manager a program called bot loads and reloads on/off for a while and then just STOPS. It's only on initial logon and only on my user.

    Furthermore, if i don't turn my modem on when i logon it doesn't happen. If I turn it on after loadup it fails to occur. So what is it?

    It's bugging me. Is it serious. Ideas guys?

    Please follow the steps below:

    - Run ALL the steps in this Sticky thread READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support

    Make sure you check version numbers and get all updates.

    - Very Important: Make sure you tell us the results from running the tutorial...was anything found? Were you unable to complete any of the scans?...Were you unable to download any of the tools?...Did you do the on-line scans as suggested? etc.


    After doing ALL of the above you still have a problem make sure you have booted to normal mode and run the steps in the below link to properly use HijackThis:

    I ran everything and it found something which I believe was it called the Tofger Trojan. It was deleted. It got stopped on startup, but I assume it'll come back. Or is it still there?

    Depends. According to Mcafee page, this is 2 years old, if you got it, you have a security problem, possibly no firewall, not updated on service packs or anti-virus:

    Being that old, it should have been removed on a virus scan. You may want to do a hijack this scan, but your wasting your time if all your security is not up to date.
