spyware sweeper?

or something like that... my computer hates me when this program runs and i cant figure out how to remove it. it doesnt even show up on my add/remove programs list. any help?

yes. thats it. it tries to make me buy crap and never helps any. i dont even know how it got on my computer.

 

It's one of the best programs for antispy protection and removal. The new trial version is no good anymore because it doesnt allow you to remove anything, it only scans.

It should be listed in Add/Remove Programs under "Spy Sweeper".

 

it isnt there... not on the list at all

 

Click Start > Run > type in the below:

C:\Program Files\Webroot\Spy Sweeper\unins000.exe

Let me know what happens.

even though i copy pasted what you typed

 

Download a fresh copy of SS, install it and after you install reboot. You should now be able to successfully uninstall using the uninstaller.
