The following is a request for Help & Sanity!!!
A SpywareNO infection has been reported by Ad-Aware SE on my Home-office LAN which includes 3 workstations and a laptop. AASE scans on each PC report the same findings. FYI- an AASE Scan Log is attached. AASE successfully detects, quarantines, and deletes these findings. However, SpywareNO returns after a reboot.

I’ve completed ALL of the steps EXACTLY as outlined in Chaslang’s READ & RUN ME FIRST Before Asking for Support section.
1] Ccleaner ran without incident and removed all temp files.
2] MS Mal-code Rem Tool ran and it reported no infections found.
3] AASE full-sys scan ran & it found SpywareNO, see attached AASE scan log.
4] Spybot S&D ran & reported 3 MS Security Center Notify dialogs that had been turned-off. This was probably changed by Norton AV2006, but, let Spybot fix it anyway, and then Immunized.
5] Ran MS Anitspyware Beta1 & it reported no infections found.
6] Ran CWSHredder & Kill2me. Both reported no infections found.
7] Ran the BitDefender & Panda on-line scans. Attached are the reports.
8] Temporarily disabled System Restore & rebooted in Normal Mode.
9] SpywareNO was reported by AASE smart Scan upon reboot.
10] Checked out Sticky’s Special Removal Procedures & none seemed to apply.
11] Checked out Alternative Scans in section 8 & none seemed to apply.
12] Ran Ewido 3.5 because I was desperate for a fix & it reported no infections found.
13] Ran HJT, see attached log, and issued this SOS to Major Geeks.com…HELP!

The above activity has been performed on only 1 of the 4 PC’s on the home office LAN. Will the above procedures need to be performed on each PC individually to get rid of SpywareNO? Any assistance you provide will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

    Welcome to MGs!

Ad-Aware SE is wrong. This is a false positive that started with the last reference file update. Ignore Ad-Aware SE for now.

I'll take a look at your logs to see if anything else is found.

You're logs show no signs of any infections. Are you having any actual malware problems (ignoring the false positive from Ad-Aware.

Since you are a paid subscriber to Ad-Aware, you should be complaining to Lavasoft about their false positive that is causing thousands of people to think they have SpywareNo.

Thank you for such a quick reply. So happy to hear it's a False Positive and will certainly sleep a lot better tonight than I have since last Ad-AwareSE update of Feb. 9th.
    Thanks again for your help.

Thanks for the quick review of my log files.
I was fearful of having a home-office melt down!
The peace of mind your input provides is greatly appreciated.
I agree with you about Lavasoft. They let a lot of people down on this one.
    Once again...Thank you.
