Starlogic 1772ED driver

After a crash I need a Starlogic 1772ED driver.
I am running W98se and am only getting 16 colors.
My resolution is 640X480 and it will not adjust.
I have tried about all the drive sites on the net
and have had no luck. Does anyone know where I
can find this driver or a gerneric on that would work.

This is a monitor driver right? I think you need the driver for your video card or onboard video, do you know what that is? ed

 

Thanks you are right I do need a video driver. I also went to the Gateway
site as someone suggested, they were right my computer calls for a NVidia Riva 128/128ZX driver. I updated the driver and it said it was not compatable with my computer. I installed it anyway and it did not work. In the device manage it shows the big yellow ?. I changed it back to the Standard PCI Graphics Adapter and I am back to where I started.
I do not know if this will help but a friend gave me this computer and it was running W2000 NT. When a file became corrupt and it would not boot I tried to resore it with the Back Up disks I had made, but it didn't work. So I installed W98se on the machine since I had this OS. This is when my problems began. Any suggestion?
