Start menu doesn't work, taskbar moves away

I'm running Vista (Ugh), and suddenly my start menu became opaque with nothing on it. Also when I click on my taskbar, it moves to the left past the start button. I can't right click on start button to access anything. My browsers seem to work ok, also I have Opera. Did the scan for Malware, found none. What next? Any suggestions?

Where'd ya come by that name? I logged 3.5 million miles on a big rig. As for my problem, it seems to have settled down a bit. I did the read me thing, downloaded and ran CCleaner, then DL and ran Smart Defrag, and also DL and ran Spy Sweeper. Which found nothing but a couple of tracking cookies. I think when I ran the Registry Cleaner, there were numerous problems in the registry, it cleaned up some issues. So for now my pc seems to be running ok. I also turned on my Norton firewall.

Well, the problem reoccurred, so I've run the SuperAnti-Spyware Scan and attached the scan log. Thanks for looking.

no one in software is going to examine your SAS log.
Download all the tools. SAS is the first so you've already done that.
