Start Menu Problems

Hi there,
Right ive been having this problem for a while now, all thought it doesn't cause great problems, i want to know why this is happening and how to fix it.


On the part of my start menu where the "Recently use/Most used" programs normally are, its just blank, i still have my pinned Firefox, IE and Messanger icons above this part and the rest of the start menu seems to be working fine.


Any ideas what causing this?

Actually, no. rolleyes Mine does the same thing..At times it is blank (except for the pinned ones) and at other times, there are things there. I've thought it might have something to do with running CCLeaner or malware scans, but not sure. I'm going to keep an open to see if you get an answer, so I can fix mine, too

 

CCleaner can do it, or MRU Blaster. You can also clear it manually by a rt. click on Start, Properties, Customize, under Programs... Clear List, or choose how many you want to display also.

 

No, its set as 6

and it dosnt fill again when ive used programmes

Its like its been cleared and set so thinks cant be added again
