Start over!!!!!

If I wanted to basically start all over again to where I had my modem connected to my pc, and start the install of my router all over again, how would I do that? It's probly e-z for all of you out there, but not for me!

 

What type of router do you have. Most will have a way to rest back to factory default.

 

The router is a netgear WGR614. I can reset to factory settings. Today I started it all over again to where I took out my usb connector card and started my router all over. I had the dsl modem connected to my router and my router connected to the pc through a ethernet. Once I did my wireless settings and my wireless card was ready to go, I disconnected the ethernet from router to pc, and my LAN says " A Network Cable Was Unplugged" Help! Please?!
