I recently installed a 2nd hard drive to see if it was working. After I removed it,my system boot-screen offers a choice of o/s. I am running XP Home, the other hard drive was XP Pro,but that no longer exists. Problem is, my system "thinks" it is dual-boot. How can I delete all reference to this? My system is P4;2400 mhz;Western Digital 80 Gig h/d;512 memory;Windows XP Home.
    All advice welcome.

See if this does the trick. Go to Start/Control Panel/System/Advanced/Startup and Recovery and uncheck the box that says Time to display list of OS There may be another way as well, but let me know what this does for you.
