startupmonitor 1.2 question

hi all!

startup monitor seems to be a nifty little package that seems to do what i expect it to do but before i download it there's a few things i need to be sure of 1) is it vista compatible 2) if i select no for a new autostart programme is there an option for it to remember it if it reappears (i'm having trouble permanently disabling washidx.exe and wwdisp.exe from window washer) 3) does it have a configuration window? if there is a programme with realtime monitoring and popup alerts that does what i require please recommend it to me. it would be nice if it is configurable.

1) don't know as the developer says

StartupMonitor works on all modern versions of Windows through XP. I haven't tried it on Windows Vista yet.

2) Yes, download Startup Control panel lso. this will allow you to turn things off and on, should you change your mind. There will be an icon in the Control panel that when clicked has several tabs and allows you to look through all the startup items, enabled and disabled.
3) see above note.

This program has realtime monitoring and pops up alerts.

what i meant was is there a programme similar to startupmonitor with an "always allow" or "always block option", most preferably one that with popup alerts on the system tray when a new startup programme is detected
