static IP

    Hello,

    Does anyone know of the proper way to give a static IP address to a network printer in a home network. using a cable modem and a linksys wireless router? thanks

    log into the linksys and edit the DHCP scope, say a range of 10-100. Then you can static in any address from 101-254 on the printer.
    Or use whatever numbers you want as long as you use numbers out of the scope of your DHCP range.
